Do you trust God when evil is all around you?
In Esther 5-7 we begin to see God working to save his people. This begins with the destruction of Human.
When we look at the book of Proverbs we see several descriptions of an evil person and what their end will be. First, pride will come before their destruction (Proverbs 16:18). Also, an evil person will not go unpunished (Proverbs 11:21). This is Haman’s fate as he lets both pride and hatred get the best of him. Haman’s own actions bring about his destruction at the hands of the king.
In addition, Esther and Mordecai trusted God and were patient to wait for him. By not rushing or taking matters into their own hands, they allowed God to move and work to save his people, by allowing evil to unravel by its own hand.
As you look at these chapters, what does it teach you about trusting God?
