A Note from LaRosa
Bible Study Tips began as a way to help people learn the Bible and grow their faith. Over time, my own spiritual journey has expanded — moving beyond traditional frameworks into a deeper exploration of love, consciousness, and alignment with the Divine.

Setting You Up for Bible Study Success
Bible Study Tips is for everyone who thinks Bible study is too difficult and frustrating. You feel like everyone understands the Bible except you. As you look at this big book, you don’t know where to begin.
That’s exactly how Satan wants you to feel. He wants to keep you from growing in your faith. His primary tactic is making you believe you need a PhD to make sense of the Bible.
I know how you feel. That used to be me.
I’m here to let you know that you don’t have to struggle! I want to show you how you can transform yourself into someone who enjoys Bible study.
When you learn to enjoy the Bible your faith will grow and you’ll connect with God. I promise to help you get there.
My Commitment to You
My commitment to you is simple: I commit to help you enjoy Bible study.
How will I do that? Here’s the game plan:
- Every Monday I’ll give you a Bible study tip or thought
- Each week I will also provide you with several prompts to help you study
Your job? Take the tips and use them in your studies each week.
Everyone learns in their own way, so not every tip will help you. That’s okay. Experiment and figure out what works for you. Move on if a tip doesn’t work. Otherwise, add it to your toolkit.
If you use the tips and continue to put in the work, in time you will begin to enjoy Bible study. Why? Because you’ll no longer be intimidated and frustrated by the Bible. As a result, your faith will grow and your relationship with God will strengthen.

My name is LaRosa Johnson, the Bible study guy. I live in Jacksonville, North Carolina with my wife and kids, where I write, run, and enjoy life.
Though I have no formal qualifications or theological degrees, I am a regular guy whose curiosity has driven him to learn more about the Bible. Some might describe me as having a bent towards pastoring and teaching, but it just so happens that I simply enjoy adding value to the lives of others through what I learn from the Bible.
Years of personal spiritual development have given me a genuine love for Bible study. The Lord put me on this earth to share my love for Bible study with others. This has taken many forms over the years, whether it be teaching, writing, or producing online courses.
If I can love my family well & help others learn the Bible my life will be a success.
