1 Timothy 1-3

Paul writes to Timothy, his son in the faith. He writes so Timothy knows how people ought to conduct themselves in the Church. Paul talks about the issues of false teachings & speculations in the church, the need for prayer, as well as the qualifications for overseers and deacons.

One thing Paul emphasizes when sharing his testimony is the importance of Christ’s work. Jesus came into the world to save sinners, which is all of us. Furthermore, God desires that all of us come to the knowledge of this truth. For this reason, we must preach the gospel and share it with as many people as we have opportunity to do so. Jesus came to save sinners and he is for everybody.
