Exodus 24-25

After Israel agrees to covenant with God and to live according to his Law, Moses is once again sent up Sinai. During this 40 day period, Moses receives instructions for how to build the tabernacle and all its furnishings. Why? Because God wants to dwell with his people and the tabernacle is where his presence will be housed. The tabernacle will be a visual reminder of God’s continual presence to the people and their house of worship.
