Acts 28
After their shipwreck, the locals offered hospitality to everyone who was on the ship. During their stay Paul healed many and ministered to them. Finally, Paul made it to Rome. While there, he met with the local Jews and shared the gospel with them. Some believed, but others turned away. Yet, during his time awaiting trial, he was not hindered from preaching to all those who would listen.
Paul’s preaching shows us the importance of sharing the good news with all who will hear it. Yet, we have to remember that not everyone who hears will accept it. For some people, it will be judgment against them because of their rejection. It is the Holy Spirit who draws people to repentance. But, that does not preclude us from doing our part, which is delivering the message.
